I hope you had a lovely and restful weekend. What did you get up to? As for me, I got to do a whole lot of resting, caught up on some shows and managed to stay committed to my ban on carbs, sugar, and snacks. That’s winning in my books! Even though my workout gear continues to gather dust and stays judging me. 😊
Here is what I’ve got for you today.
You are filled with the good things of God’s house when you draw near to Him. God is powerful enough to silence the tumult of His children, and merciful to heal every broken place. He is also a redeemer of time and is in the business of restoration. You have nothing to be ashamed of, in fact God would rather you throw the weight of regret, and loss on Him. He is your hope, and the best comforter out there. He takes care of the earth, and waters it, making it fertile and rich. You are His most valued creation, His best work! Imagine what He can do with and through you. I pray that you are overwhelmed by God’s love, this week, (and always). I pray that He surrounds you with His rest. I pray that He lifts your head up, so that you can see all of heaven rooting for you. I pray that He gives you a new heart, one that is soft and pliable to Him. To use David’s words, I pray that God crowns your month with a bountiful harvest, and that even the hard pathways, and valleys overflow with abundance. May His Spirit empower you to do what is right and good in His sight, and may your good works rise to Him like sweet-smelling incense. Do not count yourself out! Be faithful with what you have today. Look up to the skies in awe of God’s mastery. Look at yourself and see His goodness. If you haven’t heard it said in a while, I love you. Even better is the Father’s love in daily pursuit of you.
