A honey-glazed New Year

Cheers to the valleys in 2018 that led you to the mountain top that is 2019. Leaf through the old, but be gracious to yourself and turn to a new page | a fresh start.  

As you embark on this new year, I raise my honey rimmed champagne glass to you. Honey and champagne? Yup! I am walking on the wild side…kindda, sorta. Okay not really but yea — 

Hey honey, there will be challenges. But I see a conqueror in you. 

Yes honey, external factors will most certainly disrupt your happiness, but thats fine. Happy is fleeting anyways. Joy. Thats what matters.

So from me to you…

May the currents of joy freely flow from your heart to your soul as you go about doing life in a world heavily cloaked in the weighty threads of “what ifs”, disappointments and all else.

Joy — its a vibe, divine in nature, postured in God. 

May joy’s rhythm steady your heart and keep you calm in those storms that will admittedly ruffle your feathers, and mess up your well laid edges.

May the perspective you gained on the mountain top (plastered all over your vision board) keep you excitedly expectant through the year. 

May you remember to smell the coffee on cold winter nights, and the roses on hot summer days. 

May you remember to breathe, and deeply too. 

May you be rooted, and at peace in the in betweens, in spite of. 

Also, love. 

Fall in line with loves’ tune, and dance like no one is watching.

Yes, you can. 

You can, and should love and be loved. Its your nature. Everything else is learned. 

Be wild and messy. Colour outside the lines that have kept you bound. His grace abounds.

Hey honey, be brave. 

Sweeten the world with all that flavour down in your belly. 

Its healthy you know, to Bee – YOU – till – full aka Be – YOU – to da fullest!
